The Glass Database is designed to run quietly in the background—clean, efficient, and self-driven. But when you’ve got a great addition or meaningful correction, we’d love to hear from you.
✍️ Submit an Entry or Edit
Anyone can contribute—just register (it’s free and fast). You can upload photos, flag corrections, or add new items from your personal collection. For now, objects are given a generic name, but you’re encouraged to include a short story or background to enrich the entry.
You’ll get a Public Collection link to share your submitted pieces. All submissions must be for items you own.
We don’t have formal maker accounts (yet), but verified artists and company reps are absolutely welcome to contribute. If we can confirm who you are, we may give you review access to your maker page—alongside a few other trusted voices. Every update still gets a once-over before it goes live.

We do not license or provide our content for republishing, but we’re always open to thoughtful collaboration that aligns with our mission.

❓ Frequently Asked
Do I need to be an expert to submit something?
Not at all. If you’ve got a detail to share—a name, a date, a photo—it’s welcome here. Every submission counts, and each one is reviewed before it goes live to help keep things accurate.
Can I submit without logging in?
You’ll need a free contributor account. It helps us track submissions, prevent spam, and credit your work (if you want that).
What kind of things can I submit?
New records, corrections, sources, photos, or even just a small note that might help us connect the dots.
Can I stay anonymous?
Yes. You can choose whether or not your name appears alongside your submissions.
Why hasn’t my submission been published yet?
Most submissions are reviewed quickly—but if there’s a delay, it usually means the images aren’t clear enough to verify, or the item may not be glass. We’ll always let you know if there’s an issue. Every solid submission helps grow and refine the archive.
Do you offer formal maker accounts?
Not yet—but it’s something we’re exploring. If introduced, maker accounts would be designed to support accuracy and context—not act as free advertising. The goal is to enrich the archive with trusted insight, not marketing copy.
